Join Debbie (The Curly Yogi) and Lucie (Boho Birth Collective) for this small and friendly workshop, exploring how pregnancy yoga, hypnobirthing, breathing techniques and relaxation will help you to nourish your body and mind, preparing you to meet your baby.
Debbie Copner is an experienced pregnancy yoga teacher who will lead you through a special prenatal yoga practice to help you flow with your breath, connect to your baby and ease away the aches that pregnancy brings.
Lucie Young is a Hypnobirthing Teacher, Mindful Breastfeeding Practitioner and a Postnatal Doula. Lucie is a local mum to three children and found the hypnobirthing techniques she learned 11 years ago so amazing that she trained as a hypnobirthing teacher herself! Lucie loves seeing that transformation in her clients from terrified and nervous, to excited and confident.
In this workshop Lucie will introduce you to Hypnobirthing and discuss the common misconceptions and what it's all about. Spoiler alert, it is for all types of births! You'll learn some of the main advantages of Hypnobirthing, the importance of the mind-body connection and come away with some useful knowledge to take with you into labour.
Plus, Lucie will talk you through a couple of useful breathing techniques too.
The workshop will be rounded off with a beautiful pregnancy relaxation. This will be a guided relaxation and will focus on releasing fears linked to pregnancy and birth.
You will come away with some tools for life, not just birth, plus a fab goody bag packed with lots of useful information, samples and an exclusive discount to Lucie's courses.
This three hour workshop costs £40.
Suitable for 14 weeks of pregnancy onwards.
No previous yoga experience is needed.
