Join me for this small and friendly workshop exploring how Ayurveda can help us to be our best in winter.
Ayurveda is an ancient holistic wellbeing system and is said to be the sister science to yoga, so they compliment each other perfectly! Ayurveda uses lifestyle, food and the seasons to create balance within our bodies, keeping us healthy, strong and free of "dis-ease".
In this workshop we will look at the fundemental aspects of Ayurveda, discover your Dosha (your body constitution) and look at how we can work with your Dosha and nature to thrive during the dark winter months.
We will look at how to look after our bodies with simple daily routines, how to adapt our diet to give us more energy and keep us from feeling stagnant.
I will lead us in a flowing yoga practice with an Ayurvedic focus to release tension and increase our energy, a simple meditation to help us feel calm and grounded and a Yoga Nidra to deeply relax and recharge.
This three hour workshop includes hot drinks and healthy homemade snacks. A real treat to yourself for the new year!
Suitable for beginners and experienced yogis alike. Cost is £40 and payment secures your place.
